These sweet, flaky, buttery scones were perfect with tea and a good book. We had some raspberries that we needed to use so we decided to try this recipe from Betty Goes Vegan by Dan and Annie Shannon, page 319. Raspberries and chocolate are a classic combination, and I love how the berries made the scones pink.

Scone Fact: The first scones were baked in cast iron pans hung in the kitchen fires of rural England and Wales.
