Photography Challenge: Toy With Reality

The requirements of this challenge were to photograph a toy and make it blend into it’s environment as though it were the real thing. Because I love vintage cars and I used to drive an old Dart, I decided to take a macro shot of a die-cast 1971 Dodge Dart Swinger toy car. Then I put my husband Keith behind the steering wheel, idling on the side of the road in a sunset setting.

Here’s my original miniature car macro shot used in this composition:

  1. Very well done! At first, it looked like a real car. I had no idea. How you got Keith behind the wheel makes it all more like the real thing. Beautiful background and colors!
