Photography Challenge: Post-Mortem Photography
This is the third and final self-assignment in my recent series of Victorian photography genre tributes.
This photo is an homage to the somewhat morbid practice of Victorian post-mortem studio photography.
After my beloved pet rescue goldfish Aurora died I took this photograph of her body floating in a bowl of water. She’d always been incredibly beautiful but difficult to capture in a photo.
