This photograph of the gorgeous Steel Bridge is the second in my series on Portland, Oregon’s many bridges.
I plan to photograph each bridge in a different style.
For this shot I wanted to capture Portland’s old Steel Bridge in the look of a vintage postcard. To achieve this effect, I photographed the bridge in color, converted it to black and white, and then colorized it. I added some dust and scratches to give the image an antiqued look, made some other adjustments, and added some descriptive text.
