A Perfect Day

“The world is not imperfect or slowly evolving along a path to perfection. No, it is perfect at every moment, every sin already carries grace in it.” ― Herman Hesse

With this project I wanted to create a composite encapsulating various elements of a perfect day my husband and I spent driving through Oregon’s stunning Columbia River Gorge and around Mt. Hood.

While this photo is anything but realistic, it contains many of my favorite sights from that day within one frame.

For a vantage point, I wanted to make the viewer feel as though they’re looking down on the Hood River Valley from the top of a nearby waterfall.

I shot and used four separate photographs for this composition.

  1. A perfect day, a perfect project! Well done! Wow, four separate pics to form one beautiful composition. Can’t even tell. Bringing all together, you created one beautiful new scene.
